Biking For Jake (and Donuts)

Greetings, all. My name is Phil O'Donnell. A little over a year ago, I staged a fundraiser to benefit the New Jersey Run for the Fallen, an annual event where a team of military runners from all across the country run 190 miles over the course of four days to honor fallen servicemen and women from New Jersey.

Last year I took all seven workout classes at my gym, the MAX of Woodbridge in one day. This time, I'm taking a 130+ mile bike ride, following's Jersey Shore Donut Trail. Along the way, I'll be making stops at each of the eight donut shops along the way to sample their wares. I'm doing all of this in memory of my cousin, Sgt. John "Jake" O'Donnell Jr., a U.S. Marine who we tragically lost four years ago when he fell victim to PTSD upon returning from several tours of duty overseas.

I have the event tentatively scheduled for the weekend of September 8-10th. Between now and then, I will be accepting donations, and will also be seeking out corporate sponsors. If anyone owns a business and would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

100% of the proceeds raised from the sale of these t-shirts will go to benefit the New Jersey Run for the Fallen. Free shipping on every purchase. Thanks so much for your support!
